Privacy Policy

This policy explains how UXFix handles personal data when you use our website, workspace, and reporting widget.

Last updated: July 19, 2026

1. Who this policy applies to

UXFix provides tools for businesses to collect and investigate bug reports. This policy applies to people who visit our website, create or use a UXFix workspace, or submit a report through a UXFix reporting widget.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use UXFix, we may collect:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, workspace name, password credentials, and account activity.
  • Billing information, such as subscription status and transaction identifiers. Payments are processed by Paddle; UXFix does not store full payment-card details.
  • Report content, including a reporter’s description of an issue, the page URL and title, referrer, browser and device details, language, viewport information, console errors, and failed network-request details.
  • Session replay data, which may include recent interactions and page content needed to reproduce a reported issue. Password fields are masked by the reporting widget and are not tracked.
  • Technical and security information, such as IP-derived rate-limit identifiers, browser information, and logs needed to operate and protect the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure UXFix, create and manage accounts, process subscriptions, investigate reported issues, provide support, enforce usage limits, communicate about the service, and comply with legal obligations.

UXFix can generate an AI-assisted bug summary from a report’s technical evidence. We do not send raw session-replay snapshots, full page content, cookies, authentication headers, or input values to the AI service for this feature.

4. How information is shared

We share information only as needed to run the service: with service providers that support hosting, email, payment processing, AI-assisted summaries, and integrations you choose to connect, such as Jira. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect UXFix, our customers, or others.

A business using the UXFix widget controls the websites on which it is installed and the reports collected from those sites. That business is responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any permissions required for its use of the widget.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain account and report data for as long as needed to provide UXFix, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Workspace owners can request deletion of their account from account settings; deleting a workspace removes its associated users, reports, integrations, and usage records from our active systems. Some information may remain in backups or records we must retain by law for a limited period.

6. Your choices and rights

You can update account information through your workspace and may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about the personal data we hold about you. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date. For privacy questions or requests, email info@uxfix.io.
